Aluminum Extrusion Plant
Aluminum Extrusion is a process used to transform aluminum alloy into objects of a fixed cross sectional profile. Currently, there is a high demand in Lebanon, and in the Middle East Region, for aluminum profile. The objective of this project is to design an aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant in Lebanon to fulfill local and regional market demand. The plant should be able to handle extrusion operations for different type of dies, polishing process, powder coating and anodizing finishing. The plant should be designed according to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and the Aluminum Association Standards. In addition, a supply chain strategy should be designed to cover the supply of raw materials and all distribution channels. A feasibility study for the proposed design is required including optimal suggested facility location and risks assessment.
