The LAU Discover Engineering Summer Camp is designed to initiate high school students to engineering. It will provide a firsthand experience that will help them make future career decisions. Participants will be introduced to seven different engineering majors through projects and activities in mechanical, industrial, electrical, computer, mechatronics, civil and petroleum engineering.

The camp will allow students to:

engage in hands-on activities
participate in design challenges
develop teamwork
acquire skills and knowledge required for a career in engineering
mingle with professionals and faculty members
experience campus life
explore the LAU campus and in particular the Engineering labs

Fees

$500 (750,000 LBP) including 4 nights’ accommodation, meals, outings and activities.

Who can apply

High school students who have completed grades 10 or 11.

Dates

Session 1: July 6 to 10
Session 2: July 13 to 17
Session 3: July 20 to 24
