LAU Engineering Robotics & VR/AR Summer School
School Objectives:
The SOE Robotics and VR/AR Summer School offers you, a middle-school robotics enthusiast, the chance to explore robotics and extended reality through applied learning. As a participant, you will learn how to design, build, and program robots at LAU’s School of Engineering laboratories.
All participating students will receive access to exclusive learning content from Microsoft®, including Minecraft Education coding lessons and Artificial Intelligence Education with Microsoft Learn. They will also have the chance to prepare for the prestigious Imagine Cup Junior 2025 competition.
The school will allow you to:
- acquire skills in building and programming versatile robots
- create virtual and augmented reality applications
- develop teamwork skills
- engage in challenges and competitions
Who can apply
Middle-school students in grades 6 to 9
How much does it cost?
$370 including hands-on learning experience from experts in the field, access to high-end robotics educational kits, fully equipped laboratories, transportation, meals, and fun activities
When does it start?
- Session 1: July 1 to 5
- Session 2: July 8 to 12
- Session 3: July 15 to 19
- Session 4: July 22 to 26
