The nursing shortage is present not only in Lebanon, but on an international scale. This shortage, not only puts a strain on the current available nurses, but also causes patients to be at risk of not obtaining proper care. 

To that end, relieving nurses of minor but time-consuming work would be a first step towards solving the aforementioned problem. Moreover, creating an automated robot to help patients with their most basic needs and providing them with medication based on a set schedule would allow nurses more time to deal with more pressing and prominent issues, thus, increasing the overall effectiveness of the healthcare system.
