This event provides a platform for our industrial partners and guests to interact with our students and witness their hard work on VIP+ projects in collaboration with industry partners.
The VIP+ program is a unique vertically integrated project that involves students from diverse disciplines and levels working collaboratively on a project with the industry.
Our students will showcase their projects and present their accomplishments during the event.

Wadah Malaeb
Founder of DLOC Biosystems, inc.
Malaeb founded DLOC Biosystems in 2017, a biotech startup that is developing new technology to accurately predict drug failure in human trials to enable preclinical trials on-chip. This technology is expected to make clinical trials cheaper and safer. The organ-on-chip technology also aims to fully replace animal testing in the future. Wadah has five years of research experience in tissue engineering and biomedical engineering. He invented the first concept of DLOC’s chip in 2017 during his master’s thesis at the American University Beirut.
