Expandable EBike 2

The current project consists in designing and building an expandable e-bike that can accommodate up to 2 passengers, along with the cyclist. The bike should be driven by a hybrid mechanical/electrical propulsion system (i.e., human power / electric motor), operated by the cyclist alone (i.e., passengers have no active role in propelling or steering the bike). The overall weight of the bike should not exceed 30kg, and it should be capable of carrying a cyclist, and up to 2 passengers, whose total weight can reach up to 250kg. The design should include the kinematic systems (propulsion, steering, gears, expanding seats, etc.), structural analysis of the chassis and different components, sizing of electric components (motor and battery), a CAD drawing and cost estimation of the final product.
