Soft Robotic Gloves for Rehabilitation Applications

This project aims to create a 3D-printable glove that can help stroke patients regain hand movement. The project involves creating a soft actuation glove that can be used to move and activate the fingers during the rehabilitation process. This will be achieved through a sensing glove that can be worn by a nurse or practitioner, which will enable them to move the patient’s hand in a specific desired manner. The sensing glove will use bending sensors to capture the nurse’s finger movements and translate them into movements for the patient.
