Waste Heat Recovery from Cruise Ship Engine
The aim of this project is to recover waste heat from a large ship Diesel engine. Recovered heat will be utilized for multiple applications, including freshwater production by seawater desalination, steam production, HVAC system, and hot water production. The project will initially focus on the design and implementation of a heat exchanger to recover and utilize the waste heat from the engine exhaust gases. Subsequent projects will address the design and integration of the specific systems mentioned above.
