Wine Corking Machine
The wine industry in Lebanon has been recently growing to take an increasing share of the country’s exports. In this project, a semi-automatic wine corking machine will be designed. The machine will automatically cork already filled wine bottles. The sealing of the bottles with corks is key to ensure and increase the life/quality of the wine. Corks will be fed to the machine from a carefully designed/sized stainless-steel container to ensure continuity of the production. Bottles filled with wine are manually fed to the conveyor, will get corked and then will be received from the other conveyor end tightly sealed. A key part of the design is the automation system that will control the machine.
