IIE student chapter award
The LAU student chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers won the IIE 2009 Chapter Recognition Silver Award (image below), for the second consecutive year. The award was given in recognition of the activities the chapter held last year to promote the industrial engineering program and profession on- and off-campus. This is a significant acknowledgment by IIE, a leading international industrial engineering professional society, of the hard work of the LAU chapter, which was granted a charter just three years ago.
