Geotechnical Lab

In this facility, students can perform standard laboratory and field identification tests of soils and their properties in the disturbed and undisturbed forms.

The lab is equipped with automated direct shear boxes, triaxial cells, permeability cells, and a full SHARP asphalt concrete testing laboratory, in addition to a reflected-light high precision microscope facility.
