Aerodynamic Force Measurement System

Effective aerodynamic design and analysis are crucial in various engineering fields, including aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy. This project aims to develop a high-precision two-component balance system to measure the lift and drag forces acting on airfoils within our ELRC wind-tunnel facility. The proposed system will enable the accurate assessment of airfoil performance under different operating conditions, supporting teaching activities and the research and development of advanced aerodynamic solutions. The project also includes the design and manufacturing of interchangeable airfoil models with variable angle of attack, further enhancing the versatility and capabilities of the wind tunnel setup.
