Eldertom: A Robot Cat for Eldercare

With the current eldercare issues we are facing in our generation, we decided to come up with Eldertom, a robot cat that monitors your elder, keeps him company and provides security. This is done through multiple features such as human following, mood detection, two way communication and intrusion detection.

An image of the intruder at the door-step is retrieved and the user can respond with allow access or deny access which triggers an alarm.  Two-way commnication is available to be able to hear and see the elder via the camera available in the robot next to the elder.
