Low-Cost Autonomous Robotic Vehicle for Warehouse Application

Warehouse automation is increasingly important as logistics systems demand higher speed, accuracy, and safety. Autonomous robots help reduce human error and physical strain by handling repetitive tasks more efficiently and reliably. Affordable and scalable robotic platforms are much more valuable in connecting academic learning with real industrial applications.
This project implements an autonomous robotic vehicle designed for warehouse environments. The robot performs line tracking, obstacle detection, and basic object handling using an Arduino Uno, infrared and ultrasonic sensors, DC motors, and servo motors. A regulated battery supply ensures stable operation. The system was fully built and tested, demonstrating dependable autonomous behavior. The design focuses on simplicity and low cost allowing for future upgrades such as advanced vision.
