Smart car for Autonomous Navigation
As cities grow and populations increase, transportation becomes more and more of an issue, whether in terms of accidents or in terms of traffic congestion. To face that, multiple big automotive companies have been resorting to autonomous vehicles to tackle this issue. Creating an autonomous vehicle will make driving safer and more time efficient. However, autonomous vehicles are not an easy task to be performed but they could be done in multiple methods. This project is based on building an autonomous vehicle prototype that is based on fuzzy logic control. The project mainly consists of using a path following controller that moves without coming into contact with any obstacle. Maneuvering around an obstacle will fall back to changing the path of the vehicle. Controllers of the system were built, and software track simulations were done. A physical system was designed, and we tried to implement it, but it fell short due to different limitations.
