Ousama Fansa

Mr. Fansa is a civil engineer and visionary business leader who began his career with Roots in 1986 as a Junior Site Engineer. A graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB), he quickly distinguished himself through his technical expertise and leadership capabilities, earning the role of Managing Director of Roots Saudi Arabia in 1994 and Group CEO in 2000. Under his guidance, Roots evolved from a regional firm into a global enterprise. He led the company’s expansion across, 6 countries , 12 cities, in the Middle East , North Africa and the UK , driving revenues into the hundreds of millions of Dollars and building a workforce of over 2,500 employees. His strategic direction resulted in the establishment of five manufacturing plants in Saudi Arabia and three design houses in the United Kingdom. Today, Mr. Fansa is the CEO and co-owner of Roots Group UK Limited, the parent company of Roots Arabia. Through this platform, he has overseen the development of numerous high-profile projects across Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and the Levant region—solidifying the group’s reputation as a leading force in construction, engineering, and Manufacturing of Building materials.
