Design of a Residential Building “Top-Down Construction”

A team consisting of three engineering students specializing in structural, geotechnical, and construction disciplines, along with coordination from our supervisors, is currently engaged in designing a residential building. The primary objective is to produce an economically viable blueprint that adheres to relevant engineering standards. The report encompasses data obtained from geotechnical site investigations, laboratory and on-site test results, soil profiles and properties, site classifications, and detailed designs for excavations, construction, and foundations. Various software applications, including AutoCAD, RS2, Slide2, Settle3D, and SAFE, were employed to facilitate the creation of the final design.
