Flip-Top Cap Sorting Machine (2)
While Malia Group (Cosmaline) operates a largely automated, high-volume production line, the specific process of handling and closing flip-top caps for shampoo bottles has remained completely manual. This latter creates a major bottleneck, slows down the entire production line, and introduces human error and inconsistent sealing quality. Furthermore, this outdated manual process exposes workers to physical strain and results in unnecessary financial losses for the company every year. To resolve this inefficiency, our team developed an automated, three-stage Flip-Top Cap Sorting Machine. This system completely automates the process by taking the caps, orienting them correctly, spacing them out, and snapping them closed before they ever reach the bottling line. By replacing manual handling with a fully automated machine, the system vastly speeds up production, ensures perfectly consistent cap closure every time, and cuts down operating costs. This solution eliminates the manual bottleneck entirely, making the entire packaging process faster, more reliable, and significantly more cost-effective for Malia Group.Project Details
