Abstract
Industry 4.0 is accelerating the shift toward smarter, more efficient additive manufacturing, where AI and digitalization can reduce time and production errors in FDM 3D printing. However, many current solutions remain limited in universality, scalability, and true closed-loop integration between the physical printer and its digital counterpart. WIRELY addresses these gaps through a unified Digital Twin ecosystem that combines a flexible Unity-based model, a centralized gateway and user interface for managing multiple printers, and an AI-driven defect detection and correction loop. By continuously mirroring the print process and enabling real-time corrective actions, WIRELY moves beyond isolated monitoring tools toward an integrated, adaptive framework for reliable and scalable 3D printing.
