LAU BE in Mechanical Engineering – SUPAERO “Ingénieur ISAE-SUPAERO” (Aeronautical Engineering)
This double degree allows high-performing LAU Mechanical Engineering students to complete part of their studies at ISAE-SUPAERO (Toulouse, France) and earn two degrees. Students complete the first four years (equivalent of 120 credits) at LAU and then spend two academic years at ISAESUPAERO, gaining strong exposure to aeronautical/aerospace engineering education.
Course requirements
- Completion of the first 4 years at LAU (minimum 120 US credits) before starting at ISAESUPAERO.
- Two-year stay at ISAE-SUPAERO (four semesters): three academic semesters of coursework, followed by one semester dedicated to the final degree project.
- Students follow ISAE-SUPAERO courses under the same conditions as regular ISAE-SUPAERO students, per an approved individual Learning Agreement.
- Completion of the LAU BE in Mechanical Engineering requirements with the mobility credits recognized according to LAU rules.
Admission Requirements
- Case-by-case co-selection by LAU and ISAE-SUPAERO based on strong academic performance and motivation.
- Language: at least B2 level in French (CEFR) for admission to ISAE-SUPAERO; ISAE-SUPAERO provides intensive French courses in August and language courses during the year.
- Application file is submitted by LAU and typically includes: application form, CV, LAU transcript(s), student motivation letter.
- Final admission remains subject to host approval and an official acceptance letter from ISAE-SUPAERO
