LAU MS in Mechanical Engineering – INSA de Toulouse MS in Fluids & Energy (MS–MS | Master 2 “DET”)

This double Master’s pathway enables LAU MS Mechanical Engineering students to complete part of their MS at LAU and complete a one-year Master 2 at INSA Toulouse in Fluids & Energy (DET), leading to degrees from both institutions, subject to completion of each institution’s requirements.

Course Requirements

  • Eligibility after completing at least 15 US credits in the LAU MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At INSA Toulouse: one-year Master 2 “DET” totaling 60 ECTS, including the internship component.
  • The final combined study plan is confirmed through a study contract to ensure all LAU MS and INSA Master requirements are met.

Admission Requirements

  • Pre-selection by LAU and final selection by INSA Toulouse (case-by-case) based on academic performance, scientific prerequisites, motivation, and language proficiency.
  • Language: at least B2 in French and English (CEFR) for admission to INSA Toulouse.
  • Host institution communicates admission decision via an official acceptance/refusal letter.
