Web Scraping Algorithm and Web Application for Investment Fund and Technology Startup Data
The rapid growth of the technology startup ecosystem and the increasing importance of venture capital in fostering innovation necessitate efficient and comprehensive data collection methods. This proposal outlines a multidisciplinary project to develop a web scraping algorithm and a corresponding web application. The goal is to streamline the process of gathering and analyzing data on technology startups and investment funds, facilitating research for venture capital firms. The project objectives are to: a) Develop a Robust Web Scraping Algorithm capable of systematically extracting relevant data from various online sources, including startup databases, investment platforms, news articles, and company websites, and b) Develop a user-friendly web application to allow users to input specific criteria and receive tailored reports on startups, funding trends, and relevant market insights.Desired Disciplines
